Gateway fingerprint

When you pair, Device Builder connects to build.apolloautomation.com:6055 and shows the server's fingerprint. Pair only if it matches this one exactly.

How to check

  1. In Device Builder's pair dialog, look at the 7 emoji on the confirm step. Same emoji, same order: the first check.
  2. Open the hex under them and compare it with the hex here. The emoji cover 42 bits of the fingerprint; the hex is all 256, so it is the check that cannot be forged.
  3. If anything differs, cancel and contact Apollo support. Never type a pairing key into a dialog showing a different fingerprint.
